About Jacob
I’m a Creative Director and Lighting Designer working across live events, theatrical productions, and multi-venue experiences. I’m drawn to projects that let me shape how people experience a space—using light, scenery, and technical systems to build something cohesive and immersive.
Over the past few years, I’ve had the chance to work across a wide range of environments, from festivals to high-profile private events, portrait sets, and themed entertainment. That variety has shaped how I approach design—I care just as much about how something works as how it looks.
Most of my work lives at the intersection of design and production. I like being involved from the early idea through the final execution, working with teams to make sure the vision actually translates in the room.
I also teach and mentor emerging designers, which has become an important part of my practice. It keeps me engaged with new perspectives and grounded in the fundamentals of the work.
